I just got their new EP "Dume" on Thrill Jockey...

Does anyone else prefer Robot Nicola, to Punk Rock Nicola?

I just don't think Nicola's bratty vocal stylings, Adult.'s newer "punk rock" attitude, or all the electric guitar suit them very well. I wasn't very fond of "Anxiety Always" either, I was hoping they'd get past this current phase. Still hoping.

If you like Tamion 12 Inch, you'll love the new EP. If not...

    I'm with you on not digging post-electro Adult. I know you can't keep putting out the same record, but their current direction doesn't work for me.

    Probably the best thing I've heard on Ersatz lately is Goudron's Raw Voltage.

      Thanks for the support, I hope I didn't come off too nasty. It's hard when a band you like, and wanna keep liking, goes in a direction that's not for you.
      I think the Goudron stuff is great! I don't have the cd but I've got two 12". Are there tracks exclusive to the cd?
